Zaheer Khan bids good bye to international cricket
Zaheer Khan Body has been ravged. He is said to be one of the greatest fast bowlers. On Thursday he bid goodbye to international cricket which could no longer handle the rigours of the game.
Training was moving on upcoming season which was dawned on me that’s why my shoulder has not last up rigorous bowling nearly 18 overs a day stated by Zaheer. 37 year old left arm pacer has played 92 test matches, 17 T20 internationals and 200 ODIs who has been in and out of the team for the last three to four years due to frequent injuries in body.
In all 92 Test matches, Zaheer has taken 311 wickets which is said to be fourth highest wicket-taker in longer version amongst Indians after Anil Kumble (619), Kapil Dev (434) and Harbhajan Singh (417).He gave 282 wickets in 200 ODIs.
In India’s 2011 World Cup triumphs with 21 wickets in the tournament. Toughest one in cricketing career is to walk away from the game. Zaheer stated. Zaheer also said that being part of 2011 World Cup winning team was one of the happiest moments of the career ever.
