Yuvraj Singh is back in to contention to sport his No.12 Jersey again. Yes, according to the news reports from the BCCI selection committee, Yuvraj Singh has been selected to don the Blue Jersey again for the T20’s against the mighty Aussies. This move has bolstered Team India on its tour down under which starts from Jan 12th. Yuvraj’s selection is after his impressive performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The aggressive Southpaw has tremendous record in T20 Internationals. The Punjab all rounder has a special record of hitting 6 sixes in an over against England off the bowling of Stuart Broad. Other than Yuvraj Singh, Ravi Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Ashish Nehra, Umesh Yadav and Hardik Pandya also feature in the T20 unit to feature against Australia.

Yuvraj Singh has superior record against Australia both in One Day Internationals and T20’s. But his selection was minimized only to the T20’s. Yuvraj Singh’s performance way back in the 2004 series down under and the tour during the 2007-2008 series was phenomenal.
