Madras High court stated the police chief, S.George to appear to appear for court of status for a case on Friday.

A petitioner D Sridhar of Ekkaduthangal stated that he had a complaint with the commissioner on April 11, 2005 that S. Rajamani,, claimed to be managing director of a company offered to sell a land in Ekkaduthangal village. He had gone to two agreements of sale on January 2002 and made payments on various dates to the company. Mr. Rajamani and other directors were said to refuse in selling property stated that the company head was not authorised to do it. Hence it was said to be case of cheating and breach of trust. A month later, a case was registered. 

Justice A. Arumughaswamy stated that This court observes a heavy heart that Police Commissioner is a police officer and not an emperor in Fort St. Though Mr. Sridhar produced sale agreement and many other document for payment, police had closed up the case as fact of mistake and civil in nature. Considering the facts and circumstances was said to be clear that sale deed were been executed repeatedly. Officer concerned had filed up negative final reports twice after investigation of High Court’s direction. Police commissioner is expected to receive the complaint after several investigation. Its said that could not refuse an audience to member of public for complaint.
