Today Bank employees strike in India
Bank employees are all set to move for a strike today on 28th Feburary 2017 for various demands. Many of their demands include senior officials to be made responsible for all unrecovered debts and the avenues for permanent jobs not to be outisde the agencies.
Its said that there are about 9 unions in All Bank Employees Union Federation and its understood that about 2 unions such as Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and the National Bank Officers Association will not participate in to this strike.
Other seven unions are now participating at the strike. State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank branches have already informed about their customers break into this services. Its well understood that exchange of cheque payments are to be done which will severly be affected in many private sector banks such as ICICI, HDFC, Axis & Kotak Mahindra Bank.
