Tamil Nadu to remain shutdown due to Jallikattu protests

Due to the support of Jallikattu protest, Government staffs and employees, Retail shops and transport companies and each and every sector has decided to remain shutdown with sales and operations. This includes buses, cabs, lorries, auto rickshaws and all types of public transportation from regular services.

About 9000 members in Private School Transportation service has decided to take protest and many school bus and van services are said to be operating today which has made the primary, Higher Secondary school and nursery. Government School Director Kannappan has announced that regarding holiday declaration for Government schools and decisions was said to be made by collectors on current situations. As now, Government schools that come under Kanchipuram to be operating on regular basis. 

On behalf of Nadigar Sangam, protest involved by Tamil film industry actors has started around 9 am to 6pm. Noon and Matinee shows in theaters are also been shutdown. 4.50 Lakh lorries stopped its operation from morning 6 am till evening 6 pm. Due to this about 1500 crore goods and products are stuck down.
