Tamil Nadu change question pattern for Class 12th students
Government has changed the question pattern for upcoming Class XII board exam replacing multiple choice questions (MCQs) in Part-A in one mark questions with fill in blanks, assertion-reason, match following and similar questions.
Model question papers released by State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) earlier at this month and not included up the new pattern released by Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE).
Many fear that last minute change will affect the final scores based on which admissions are carried out engineering, arts and sciences, colleges, Every year more than 8.5 lakh state board to appear at Higher Secondary Certificate exam at March to April.
Government had earlier reduced marks per subject from 200 to 100 and exam duration by 30 minutes.
