Special pilgrimage train arranged for Kasi yatra

Specially at the occasion of ensuing Mahalaya Amavasya (New Moon Day), a special pilgrimage train to Kasi(Banaras/Varanasi) is being organised.

Train to start from Madurai on 4th October and travel through Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, and Chennai Central up to Mathura Railway Station.
Passengers in train can perform obeisance and prayers to their generations of departed elders in Lord Vishu temple located at Gaya in Bihar state. They can bathe at sacred Ganga river. Passengers can visit the famous and holy temple of Lord Vishwanath, Goddesses Visalakshi and Annapoorani.
They may also bathe in the very well-known and well recorded in the myths of the junction point where the 3 holy rivers of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswathi meet, famously known as ‘Triveni Sangamam.
Passengers to have opportunity to visit some famous tourists spots such as visit and Darshan of Manasa Devi at Hardwar at Uttarkhand and also at Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, Indira Memorial, Teenmurthy Bhavan and India Gate.
