Rains will continue in Southern districts
Regional Meterological Center in Chennai has stated that the rains to continue in Southern districts since there is low depression in Kanyakumari coastal area
Low pressure system is said to be expected to form under the influence of trough low at mean sea level over equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal. The low pressure is said to develop over southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast. Due to this, there is heavy downpour of rains in southern districts.
An official announcement from Regional Meterological Centre stated that low pressure is said to move towards north, there will be heavy rains in southern districts. Rains in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Ramanathapuram. Apart from this, there will be heavy rains in Kerala and Lakshadweep Islands. There will be dry climate in North Tamil Nadu. There may be light showers in some places.
