Rain in Bengaluru Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai rains to remains dry
On and off pre Monsoon activity is been going on over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and many parts of Tamil Nadu from this month beginning.
Reason for these frequent pre-monsoon activities are to be attributed to a north and south trough which is said to be extending from central parts of the country up to Interior Tamil Nadu across South Interior Karnataka. This trough is a semi-permanent feature during this time of year.
As per Skymet Weather on and off rains are expected to continue over these states. Intensity of pre-monsoon showers will now increase over South Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu as well as Kerala during the next 48 hours.
Isolated pockets of North Karnataka is said to continue to receive light pre-Monsoon activities. After 48 hours which is also on and off pre-Monsoon rains which are expected to continue over states. Thus dry spell is said to be dry over these three states of South India for some time at least.
Capital city of Karnataka, Bengaluru is said to be expected to witness light rainfall or thundershowers activity at the next 48 hours. In same time Kochi and Trivandrum in Kerala witness heavy rain. Weather in Chennai is expected to observe thunderclouds and rains will remain on the backseat
The day and night temperatures is said to continue to settle in the similar range with warm and humid conditions over Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
