Price hike in subsidized LPG
On 1st November the subsidized cooking gas(LPG) has increased its price by Rs 2 per cylinder. This is noted to be the fifth price increase in the past five months while there is 7.3 percent increase of jet fuel.
Price of 14.2 kg cylinder to be priced for Rs 430.64 in Delhi while the previous price was Rs 428.59 as per state owned oil firms. Aviation turbine fuel price was increased from Rs 3,434.25 per kiloliter (kl) to Rs 50,260.63 per kl which is said to be equivalent to 7.33 percent hike. Its second largest straight increase while previous price increase in 3.11 percent on 1st October.
As far subsidized LPG is concerned,this is said to be sixth such increase in price ever since the month of July when they make a small hikes for about Rs 2 per bottle month on month in order to decreased down the subsidy. Last hike on LPG was said to be made on 28th October by Rs 1.5 per cylinder for commission hike given out to dealers.
Rate was hiked up to Rs 2.03 per cylinder last month on October 1st to Rs 427.09. There was one more price increase on September 1st which was increased for Rs 1.97 per cylinder, and Rs 1.93 price.
