As per Chennai corporation it’s now confirmed that up gradation of about 1675 meters were between Anna Salai and Panagal Park will be done. Only MTC buses and two wheelers will be allowed to go between Panagal Park and Thanikachalam Road junction once the pedestrian plaza is set.Its important to mention that carriage space is between Panagal Park and Thanikachalam Road to be reduced to 3.5m on both sides and the pedestrian walkway would be 10 to 12m in width.
