No weekly cash withdrawal from March 13th
RBI announced that weekly limit on withdrawal of cash from savings accounts is on two stages.
From February 20th, weekly withdrawal limit for savings account is said to be raised to Rs 50,000. From March 13th, there is said to be no limit on cash withdrawal from savings account, RBI stated.
Prime Ministers Narendra Modi stated that announcement of demonetization declared that the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes are said to be invalid on 8th November 2016, following up this, severe restrictions were said to be imposed on cash withdrawal from bank savings account or current account.
After 50 days, regulations were relaxed. Next step is that RBI has announced that latest measure. As per latest announcement from February 20th, public stated that withdrawal is up to a limit of Rs 50000/- per week from their bank savings account.
