No LPG cooking gas for 10 Lakhs per annum
As to bring down the burden of expenses on LPG subsidies, the central government has decided to cancel the subsidy facility to the richer class of the society.
The central government started a campaign. The government has stated that more women who are below Poverty Line will get benefited due to this LPG gas connection. Many person has accepted and gave up their gas cylinders. Now the central government has already announced about the decision to withdraw LPG gas cylinder to families and individuals with more than Rs. 10 Lakhs annual income.
This has implemented so far for persons with more than Rs.10 Lakh annual income will not get subsidy on LPG cooking gas cylinders. Joint Secretary of the Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. Ashutosh Jindal, stated that sms is sent to all tax payers requesting them regarding LPG stoppage, if the annual income exceeds Rs. 10 Lakhs. Ministry decided to wait for the people to come forward volunteer details. LPG cooking gas cylinder weighing 14.2 kg is sold with subsidy at 12 cylinders per year. The central government , 85.24 Lakh individuals have given up the subsidy on LPG gas cylinders.
