New helpline for LPG customers
Oil ministry has recently launched up on 1906, a dedicated grievance cell number for LPG customers of three public sector oil marketing companies. The centralized number is said to function round over the clock. Helpline offers services in nine languages such as Tamil, Hindi and English, to ensure callers can register grievances. Call center is equipped up to cater to outbound calls for contacting distributors and oil company officials.
