Malayalam actor Sreenivasan hospitalised
On Tuesday, Malayalam actor Sreenivasan suffered stroke who has been admitted to hospital. His spokesperson stated that he is under observation and his condition is stable now.
Famous Malayalam actor Sreenivasan has been admitted to a hospital in Kochi after suffering from a stroke, hospital sources stated on Tuesday tonight. A spokesperson of Kochi’s Aster Medicity Hospital stated that the 61-year-old actor was brought to the hospital last night after which he suffered a stroke. He is under observation at the ICU and his condition is stable.
Sreenivasan is also a famed Malayalam screenwriter, movie maker and producer. He is one of the famous comic roles at the industry and has acted in about 200 movies in his career. He was been the part of big projects with superstar Mohanlal. Some of his famous movies include Poochakkoru Mookkuthi, Sandhesam, Aram + Aram Kinnaram, Mazha Peyyunnu Maddalam Kottunnu and Vellanakalude Nadu among others.
Sreenivasan has also written movies like Vadakkunokkiyanthram and Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala. His film Chinthavishtayaya Shyamala has also won a National Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues category. While Sreenivasan’s elder son Vineeth is an actor-filmmaker-screenwriter, his younger son Dhyan is a popular actor in the Malayalam film industry.
