Kuwait says mosque suicide bomber is Saudi
A suicide bomber carried out deadly attack was claimed by the Islamic state group on Shiite mosque in Kuwait was Saudi national stated by the interior ministry on Sunday. The official KUNA stated in a statement that news agency of ministry identified the attackers as Fahd Suleiman Abdulmohsen al-Qaba’a. The ministry said that Qaba’s through the country through Kuwait Airport on Friday as the same day on bombing.
IS claimed that the attack which killed 26 and wounded 227 worshippers at the Al-Imam Al-Sadeq mosque in Kuwait city. The ministry statement provided no further details about the bomb attackers. On Sunday, a driver who transported the bomber for the site attack has been arrested by the security services.
Authorities also detained the owner of the house where the bomber was staying which described by the interior ministry as a Kuwait national stated to be extremist and deviant ideology”.
