ICC makes changes to ODI format
The International Cricket Council (ICC) in its annual conference at Barbados are up with some changes to the 50 over format of the cricket game. In a specific relief to bowlers, battling power plaus are scrapped and field relaxed. All changes are made into effect from July 5th.
In a statement, ICC Chief Executive David Richardson stated that they have reviewed ODI format according to the successful ICC Cricket World Cup. It is said there was no need to make any kind of radical changes to be a vibrant and popular format wanted to take this opportunity to make the format simpler and easier to follow for the public to maintain a balance between ball and bat. The ICC with seam on balls to see if bowlers would have an additional aid.
