Hyundai Creta to be launched in July
Korean Auto giant Hyundai that will be against leading SUV(Sports Utility Vehicle) brands like Tata Motors, Nissan, Ford, Mahindra and Manhindra and Renault. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has been invested upto Rs. 1000 crores to develop its new 5 seater model that has been named Creta. The model is slated to be launched next month.
The model, HMIL Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Rakesh Srivastava said that the SUV segment has been growing since 2013 according to an annual rate of 25 percent in the month of January-May period of about 6 percent. Creta bring volume to Hyundai was turning around the segment. With Creta the company is confident of achieving the leadership position in the segment… With Creta we are entering the full-fledged volume segment of SUVs. As of now, we are present in the SUV segment in the premium category with Santa Fe and sports-styled i20 Active… The global rollout of Creta will start from India with its launch on July 21 followed soon after by sales in other international markets. The name Creta would be used for all the global markets.
