Heat intensity in Tamil Nadu increases for next few days
Chennai Meteorological Centre was informed that intensity of heat increased up for next few days in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Northeast monsoon rainy season is said to have lasted until 15th January in this season. So the cold weather is normally experienced at the Tamil calendar month of Margazhi (December-January) was decreased in various parts of the state of Tamil Nadu.
Frequent rains will also held the intensity of cold rather to be low. Only at the mountainous regions, a minimum temperature of 6 Degrees Celsius was recorded. At the situation, there was been an increase in both the minimum and the maximum temperature recorded in various parts of the state.
On Monday Chennai Metro City, the minimum temperature has increased up to 24 Degrees Celsius. In the previous few days, the average minimum temperature was 21 Degrees Celsius. Officials stated that the Chennai Meteorological Centre explained about the phenomenon of increasing minimum and maximum temperature that as there groups of clouds persisting in the atmosphere over the Chennai Metro City. This is said to have led to an increase in the intensity of heat. The intensity of heat will keep increasing gradually in the next few days.
