Chennai Corporation to distribute free color voter id

Chennai Corporation Commissioner T. Karthikeyan has stated that voters who have registered to include for first time can get their color voter id card from various service e centers.
A brief on press release on Friday stated that the task of correction the voters list by adopting faster and simpler procedure is said to be taken on 1st January as qualifying date. Task is now said to be compeleted and final list overs are released on 5th January.
Details including names of about 82666 new voters are now been added in voters list. Individuals can also get new color voter IDs from the government e service centers.
Candidates who have not received their password can get the password details from Chennai Corporation office (Regions 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 9.10, and 13) and to get their Voter ID card free by showing any photographed ID proof.
People who have already registered in the voters can make a fee of Rs. 25/- and get their new voter ID cards.
