Cauvery issue DMK members to show black flags to PM Narendra Modi
DMK cadre to show black flags to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his expected visit to Chennai on 11th Aoril to inaugurate a defence expo(Defexpo India 2018) to protest against the Centre’s failure to set up a Cauvery management board stated by party working president MK Stalin on Friday.
When speaking to reporters after party executive meeting, Stalin stated that DMK members which will show that their protest at the form of showing black flags to Modi during his visit to Chennai on 11th April since the Center has failed to constitute a Cauvery management board, as directed by the Supreme Court.”
Executive meeting decided to hold all party meeting on 1st April to discuss on to the next step on Cauvery issue. Leaders of many other parties is said to be invited, ” he said. On issue of DMK MPs resigning on Cauvery issue, Stalin stated that “If all AIADMK MPs resign on to the issue, our party MPs is also said to follow them and resign.” DMK has no member in Lok Sabha but has four Rajya Sabha members.
