BSNL announces make calls even without a SIM
This will soon possible to call others and receive calls without a SIM card on Barath Sanchar Nigam Limited as they are launching Wings service starting from 25th July. This using next generation technology of Voice of Internet Protocol, BSNL would facilitate internet telephony.
In press conference on Thursday, the Chief General Manager of BSNL R Marshal Antony Leo stated that Wings is mobile technology voice service are said to be based on app. With this, BSNL users is said to make and receive phone calls even without a SIM card. This can be done through Mobile phones or laptop.
For this, Wings makes use of Packet Switching Technology, eliminating the need for SIM card. For this, the customer needs to get Wings mobile app and which can have an active Wi-Fi connectivity. This will be done on any computer or laptop or mobile devices. For this, the customers are to bear with Rs 1099 as yearly subscription. Activation is a easy process. You must be given with a 10-digit number. Once give this number, you will get a 16-digit PIN number through mail for self-activation.
