500 rs notes not accepted by petrol and airports 

On November 8th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Rs 500 and 1000 notes are said to be no longer valid that the citizens not get exchanged or either deposited at banks. 

During the announcement, government had stated that usage of old notes are not to be allowed at government milk booths, government hospitals, railway ticketing, petrol pumps and crematoria and burial grounds till December 15th and also old notes allowed to be used for highway toll, medicine prescribed by doctor, metro rail tickets, LPG gas cylinders, railway catering, electricity and water bills and entry tickets of ASI monuments.

On Thursday, government stated that petrol pumps, air ticket counters, LPG stations is said to accept old Rs 500 notes till December 2. In an effect from 3rd December 2016, old 500 notes cannot to be used not to purchase of petrol, gas and diesel at station operating of public sector.
